Exhibition Art Fairs Artists Media Publications Activity About Us 中文

In September -- the most beautiful season in the countryside of China, L-Art Gallery present for you Zhang Ya solo exhibition Weaving Images. In Tao Yuanming’s poems, we can feel the poet’s carefree mind from his line “picking chrysanthemum under the fence”. While in the artistic creation of Zhang Ya, we can see a wonderland which is formed and exists in the inner world of the artist. The landscape in Zhang Ya’s pictures may be the temporary home for her heart to rest. The soft and beautiful lines in her paintings roam amongst the symbolized life of souls and buildings, old trees, and mountains. The vivid and elegant lines go through them and interpret the dialogues between life and non-life, existence and non-existence, as well as animals and alienated human will. Zhang Ya stubbornly face the real and virtual world in a pure way, and have dialogue with it with her heart to search for a truer ego.”
