Life • Journey – Departing from San Mao

22 years ago, he made the last few pieces of black-and-white photographs for San Mao on Liuyin Street in Chengdu.

On July 16th this year, the solo photography exhibition opening of the greatest portrait photographer in China Xiao Quan, titled Life • Journey – Departing from San Mao, and L-Art Gallery First Anniversary Celebration will be held in L-Art Gallery. The exhibition will show Xiao Quan’s classical photographs of the wandering writer San Mao. With the influence of San Mao, Xiao Quan has travelled around the world, capturing life and describing the world with his eyes, heart and camera.  The exhibition will also bring to the public for the very first time a new series of Xiao Quan’s works, which are created along his travelling. During the exhibition, Xiao Quan will have a talk with audiences to exchange stories, discoveries and thoughts about life on the road.
